Laura L. Neff-Henderson, APRLaura L. Neff-Henderson, APR has extensive public relations experience in public and private education as well as non-profits. In her current full-time position, Laura oversees the internal communications program at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Va.
Laura has extensive experience building and managing communications, marketing, and branding programs for various educational and non-profit organizations across the state of Virginia. She has previously worked for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Greater Blue Ridge Chapter, North Cross School, Arlington Public Schools, and Petersburg Public Schools. Before beginning her public relations career, Laura worked as a newspaper reporter and page designer for The Progress-Index, The Southwest-Times, and The News Messenger. Adding to her wealth of communications experience, Laura has also taught high school and college English and journalism courses. She currently teaches a media writing class at Virginia Tech. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from Radford University and a master’s degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2008 and is actively involved in the Blue Ridge Chapter of PRSA as the accreditation chair and New River Valley Outreach Committee chair. |

Jennifer A. FrancisJennifer Francis is an award winning writer, editor, and public relations specialist. Her long list of professional accomplishments includes having won 12 Virginia Press Association awards for a diverse portfolio of news and feature writing.
Currently, Jennifer works to develop and guide communication efforts as a Public Relations Coordinator for Norfolk Public Schools in Hampton Roads and is an active member of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). Previously she worked as a writer and designer with The Progress-Index newspaper. She also has experience in graphic design, speech writing, and photography. Jennifer adds to her unique communications portfolio several years of experience as a middle school English teacher in two major metro areas of Virginia. Jennifer earned her bachelors degree in English and journalism from Old Dominion University. |

Jamie S. JonesJamie Jones is a brilliant photographer who specializes in candid photography. She is well known in the Richmond, VA area for her studio portraits of brides and high school seniors and is a professional wedding photographer as well. Jamie received her bachelors degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Prior to starting her own photography studio, Jamie Jones Photography, she worked as a photographer and graphic designer at The Progress-Index, where she was recognized by the Virginia Press Association for several of her photographs. She is a member of the Photographers Association of America. Jamie earned her bachelors degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. |
